# QR Tag Generator

> A free QR code generator that runs entirely in the visitor's browser. No
> account, no watermark, no redirect, and no data sent to a server.

Codes are static: the content is encoded in the pattern itself, so they never
expire and cannot be edited after printing. Output is PNG or print-ready SVG.
The encoder implements ISO/IEC 18004 and supports numeric, alphanumeric and
UTF-8 byte modes, versions 1-40, and error correction levels L, M, Q and H.

Every page has a Markdown mirror at its URL plus `index.md`, and the full
text of the site is at https://qr-tag-generator.com/llms-full.txt.

## Key facts
- Codes generated here are static and do not expire.
- Nothing typed into the generator is transmitted; encoding happens client-side.
- Free for commercial use, no attribution required, no signup.
- Scan counts and editable destinations are NOT available: those require a
  dynamic code, which means a redirect owned by a third party.
